Goodwood Festival of Speed
West Sussex, England
22-24 June 2007

Where can you see Jenson Button in a Honda Formula 1 car, Peter Solberg in a WRC Subaru, and Sir Stirling Moss in his legendary 1955 Mille Miglia winning Mercedes Benz SLR on the same track (or rather large driveway, whichever way you want to look at it)?

Well, if you happen to have a plane ticket to London this summer, don't miss a once in a lifetime opportunity to do just that at the annual, and always spectacular, Goodwood Festival of Speed – located 60 miles from London. With a name like that, it conjures up some pretty exciting images – and the event doesn't disappoint. Lord March, founder of the event, lets some of the most renowned cars and drivers invade his estate every year to put on a fabulous show for the public.

It's a truly diverse gathering with current formula 1 drivers in cars both new and old, legends of days gone by in their championship winning machines, world rally cars on a special forest stage, and some of the most rare and exotic metal ever assembled in one place – all of which can be seen charging up Goodwood hill.

It's truly a special event, and if the opportunity presents itself, one that warrants rearranging travel plans for.
