Ferrari GTC4Lusso Preview
To take the place of the Ferrari FF, Ferrari had unveiled the GTC4 Lusso at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
As Ferrari has been witnessing a gradual demand for their coveted sportscars in the Indian market, it is inevitable the GTC4 Lusso will arrive in India. The reason why the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso makes sense for the Indian market is due to the fact that is the only Ferrari GT car that has four seats.
The GT4 Lusso is powered by a naturally aspirated 6,262cc V12 Ferrari engine that churns out 680bhp and 697Nm of torque at 5,750rpm, the engine red lines at a whopping 8,250rpm. Despite being a four-seater GT car, the GTC4 Lusso maxes out at 335km/h and accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
Carried over from the FF which the Lusso replaces, the one-of-a-kind 4RM-S four-wheel drive system that provides better handling and grip in loose or wet surface. The Lusso also features a new slotted diffuser and a rear spoiler that is integrated into the rear hatch for better downforce, yet also optimised to reduce as much drag as possible for efficient aerodynamics.
The cabin has also received refinement with an all new system for the climate control and a new navigation and media infotainment system as well. Ferrari have paid close attention in the cabin of the Lusso to enhance the in-car comfort for the passengers.
Ferrari is expected to launch the car in India sometime late 2017 with a price of around Rs. 6.5 crore (ex-showroom).
