  Globatt Batteries

Rahimafrooz Batteries is the latest entrant in the Indian battery market. Originally from Bangladesh, this Rs. 1,300 crore group, with the ability to manufacture 4 million batteries, has presence in 42 countries. They’ve commenced their Indian operations in collaboration with manufacturer ‘Globatt’ batteries. Developed on proprietary German technology involving expanded metal, the Globatt range caters to both automotive and inverter applications. Under the brand Globatt, there are three different sub-brands named Globatt Josh, Globatt Race, and Globatt Ace. The Josh is an economic battery that has a range from 32 ah to 75 ah, while Race is a mid range battery starting from 32 ah to 100 ah. Note that both these models are also available in MF and sealed maintenance-free.

Ace, on the contrary, is a premium offering meant to cater to high-end vehicles. Their range starts from 35 ah to 80 ah, though the difference comes in the form of a silver ion that increases battery life, smoothens current flow, and provides for high cranking. Like Josh and Race, the Ace too is available in MF and sealed maintenance free models. Plus, all these batteries have a warranty from 8 to 24 months.

  Pimp my ride!

You got it right, Gyro has pimped this Hyundai Getz with a custom 3 tone paint job, along with 17” Momo alloy wheels, Yokohama tires, and custom headlights featuring projector lamps. The interiors have been refurbished with leather seats, a Momo steering wheel, gear knob and pedals. Loaded with a high-end Kenwood head unit, it offers SAC 465 6.5” Double Midbass components in front, CS 265 X-Plain 6.5” components in the rear, and CS 265 X Plain Speakers. To pump up the thump, there are 4x12” Hammer subwoofers supported by iPaul 4.300x2 4 channel and iPaul DM2000x2 Mono amplifiers, along with an iPaul BPM 2.45F x 2 capacitor. To ensure quality, there’s Kicker 0 Gauge Wiring, Connection Audison RCAs and Kicker speaker cables. For additional output, there’s a fiberglass unit placed at the rear, which features front pads, tweeter pods, a subwoofer box, C-pillar mounts, and center speaker mounts. Mind you, in order to do that, you have to get rid of the rear seat, and also lose any boot space. Apart from this, there’s also a 21” LCD and an Xbox 360 gaming console, which runs on AC DC power supply.
