  INDICA

The all-new Indica will hit the streets in the last quarter of 2008. And while it shares some of the visual characteristics of the current Indica, it's a completely new design. It has bolder and more distinctive styling, both inside and out, with the instrument cluster positioned above the center console. It also has considerably better quality materials in the cabin along with extremely comfortable and nicely contoured seats.

The new Indica will come with two world-class Fiat powertrains from the new Tata-Fiat joint venture Ranjangaon plant in Maharashtra the 1.2 litre FIRE petrol and 1.3 litre MultiJet diesel. On the whole, it's a larger and more comfortable car, which means that the new car will be more expensive as well. As a result, the current Indica will not be phased out and both cars will sell side by side.
