In the current scheme of things, with demonitisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, car makers haven’t been able to convert inquiries into legitimate sales. To neutralise this and of course keeping in mind it is the end of the calendar year, car makers are now likely to offer attractive schemes and discounts to lure customers.
Renault seems to be following this tried and tested mantra as it is offering benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh on several models. Christened ‘Renault December Celebrations’, the scheme offers benefits of Rs 80,000 on all variants of the Duster along with accessories worth Rs 5000. If you are planning to buy the RXL AMT variant of the Duster, you can get a price benefit of Rs 60,000 and a gift cheque of another Rs 60,000.
For those in search of a 7-seater, Renault is offering benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh on the Lodgy plus accessories worth of Rs 5000. Renault is also offering a corporate bonus of Rs 7000 to approved list of corporate and PSUs. Buyers interested in the Pulse and the Scala can avail cash benefits of up to Rs 40,000 and Rs 90,000 respectively aside from additional accessories of Rs 5000.
With the Kwid bringing in good numbers, Renault is not offering any discounts or benefits on it. Keeping in mind demonitisation, they also have 100 per cent on-road funding available for across its model range and a special rate of interest of just 4.49 per cent for the Pulse.
